Rudi Kurniawan

Rudi Kurniawan joined the Economics Department of Padjadjaran University in 1996, both as lecturer and researcher. He obtained his bachelor degree in economics from Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Indonesia and his master degree in economics from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He has recently submitted his PhD thesis for examination at the Department of Economics, Macquarie University, Australia (under the supervision of Professor Geoff Kingston and Professor Lance Fisher). His research interests including: Macroeconomics, monetary economics and financial economics.

His recent activities including participating in Applied Intertemporal Optimization workshop (at the Central-German Doctoral Program, Universit√§t Leipzig, Germany, 2011), Matlab and STATA workshops (at Faculty of Business and Economics, Macquarie University, May2011 and April 2012), and presenting papers at conferences: International Conference on Economics and Finance (Tax Smoothing: Tests on Indonesian Data, Izmir, Turkey, April 2011) and International Conference on Management, Economics and Finance (Sustainability of Fiscal Policy in Indonesia, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, October 2012).  He is also working as a tutor and research assistant at the Department of Economics, Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.

CEDS is supported by all permanent and non-permanent lecturers and researchers of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Padjadjaran University. We have at least 56 research staff, of which 24 of them have PhD degrees in various sub-discipline of economics.
