Dr. Adiatma Siregar
Dr. Adiatma Yudistira Manogar Siregar is a Lecturer and researcher at the Department of Economics, Padjadjaran University. He has been a researcher at Center for Economics and Development Studies (CEDS) since 2006. Mr. Siregar earned his bachelor degree in Economics and Development Studies from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia (2003), a Master degree in Economic Studies from University of Queensland, Australia (2006), and finished his Ph.D in Health Science (focusing on health economics) from Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands (2014). Mr. Siregar’s research interest is in the area of health economics and his recent topic is currently related to HIV and AIDS, breastfeeding, mental health, and TBC. Mr. Siregar is currently the Head of Center for Economics and Development Studies, Department of Economics, UNPAD.
He is currently actively involved in the PRISMA project in relation to prioritizing HIV intervention (a collaboration between Faculty of Economics and Business and Faculty of Medicine UNPAD, and Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands), cost of not breastfeeding research (collaboration of CEDS with Alive & Thrive), and cost of mental health disease (under the internal research scheme from UNPAD). He is also a member of the Indonesian Health Economics Association.
He currently teaches health economics and labor economics in the undergraduate program, and health economics in the master program.
