Who We Are
Center for Economics and Development Studies

CEDS is a research institution under the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) — one of Indonesia’s leading state universities located in Bandung, West Java.

We are a leading institution with expertise in economic modeling, particularly economy-wide modeling. CEDS has been actively and continuously supporting Indonesian government agencies such as BAPPENAS and the Fiscal Policy Office to promote the use of such modeling in policy formulations — through training and development of economic models.

Our office in central Bandung is equipped with modern research facilities, statistics and economic modeling software, a modern training room, and access to international journal publications.
