Dr. Ahmad Komarulzaman
Dr. Ahmad Komarulzaman is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Economics, Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia. Mr. Komarulzaman earned his bachelor degree in economics from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia (2005), a Masters degree in Environmental & Natural Resources Economics from Wageningen University & Research Center, The Netherlands (2009) and Ph.D from Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands (2017).
Mr. Komarulzaman’s research interest is in the area of environmental & natural resources economics, SDGs, and the linkages between water, health and wellbeing. He is also has some expertise in economic modeling particularly computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling. He has working in developing CGE models and engage as instructor in many CGE modelling trainings.
Currently, he is deputy director of the Center for Sustainable Development Goals Studies (SDGs Center), Universitas Padjadjaran. He has been consultant to various organization such as UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, USAID, GIZ, JICA, IGES, PT. PLN, as well as advisor to various Indonesian government agencies.
