Two CEDS researchers, Mr. Adiatma Siregar and Mr. Ahmad Komarulzaman, attended the Technical Training Workshop on Policy Simulations held by the Global Development Network in GDN headquarter, New Delhi, India from 30 July – 1 August 2012.

Seven project partners from Armenia, Bangladesh, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Nepal and the Philippines participated in a three-day technical training workshop on Policy Simulations. Teams discussed their methodologies and preliminary results in the education, health and water sectors, and received feedback from peer groups, sector Technical Advisors and the Project Management Team.

CEDS team share their work about three policy simulations. On education sector, CEDS tries to find optimum strategy to increase the Poor’s Higher Education Participation. On health sector, the topic is on enhancing the role of community health services, while on the water and sanitation sector, the topic is about increasing water service access in West Java province.
