Bayesian Economtrics and Efficiency Measurement
Science and technology have been growing rapidly and the development mostly comes from the developed country. In order to fill the development gap of science and technology between the developed and developing country, Faculty of Economics and Business is proposing to invite a visiting and/or research professor, Dr. Grigorios Emvalomatis, from the University of Dundee, Scotland to provide the faculty members a recent development related to quantitative methods (mathematics, econometrics and statistics) and specific issues related to productivity and efficiency. Some challenges such as assumption and presents concepts, models and tools needed to analyze and quantify the levels of inefficiency and productivity at a point in time and their movement over time are discussed which are never been considered by most of the Indonesian researchers. This training is also part of 60th Dies Natalis Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran.
Objectives
The visiting of the Professor is designed to give some following activities:
•Giving training, lectures and courses in quantitative methods: econometrics and efficiency.
•Joint research for international publication.
•Seeking for another possibility of collaboration.
Participants Target
The target of participants training are students, lecturer and researcher of Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran and students, lecturer and researcher from other faculty and other university
Date and Location Training
The training will be held at CEDS Training Room on April, 25 -27th
2017 for Introduction to Bayesian Econometrics and April, 28th 2017
for Introduction to Efficiency Measurement.
