Training course on “Economic Modeling for Environmental and Natural Resource Management”for Southeast Asian researchers held in Bandung, Indonesia, from July 4–15, 2011. This event was hosted by the Center for Economics and Development Studies (CEDS), Padjadjaran University. It was attended by 21 researchers from various countries in Southeast Asia who learned about Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) modeling and its applications in environmental and natural resource management. At the end of the course, the participants were able to construct CGE models for their own countries. The resource persons for the training were Prof. Ian Coxhead, a long-standing EEPSEA resource person, and Dr. Arief Yusuf, EEPSEA Senior Economist from Indonesia.

Four small grant research projects by participants of this course have since transpired. The titles of the projects are as follows:
